OK. Do you know if it's been reported there? None of the open bugs seem relevant, but I don't really know exactly what I'm looking for. Also, couldn't this be addressed on your end by adding MYMETA.json and MYMETA.yml to MANIFEST.SKIP? I tried that on my box. It got past this particular error, but of course then it failed because the signature on MANIFEST.SKIP had changed. On Sun, Jan 20, 2013 at 12:52:49AM -0500, Jesse via RT wrote: Show quoted text

No idea. But those files aren't shipped as part of the distribution. Module::Signature needs to know that. On Sun, Jan 20, 2013 at 07:51:57AM -0500, waltman@pobox.com via RT wrote: Show quoted text

Module::Signature is already checking MANIFEST.SKIP, and those two files aren't in there. Do you think it needs to have some other way to ignore them? On Sun, Jan 20, 2013 at 04:25:31PM -0500, Jesse via RT wrote: Show quoted text

Are those two files part of the distribution or are they being added locally by your build infrastructure after the fact? If the latter, it really, really doesn't belong in the dist's MANIFEST.SKIP On Sun, Jan 20, 2013 at 04:53:11PM -0500, waltman@pobox.com via RT wrote: Show quoted text

Walt - you need to upgrade Module::Signature [Changes for 0.65 - Fri, 3 Sep 2010 21:38:02 +0200] * Skip MYMETA (Alexandr Ciornii) It passed for me on 0.68 and 0.70 I didn't downgrade to try and reproduce. -kevin Show quoted text

I am running version 0.70 of Module::Signature. I don't understand why sometimes it passes and other times it fails. But I discussed the bug with some folks on #toolchain on Sunday and they agree with Jesse that it's likely a bug in Module::Signature. rjbs opened up a ticket: https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=82844 On Tue, Jan 22, 2013 at 12:14:16PM -0500, falcone@bestpractical.com via RT wrote: Show quoted text
