My perl version is v5.12.3 Windows 7 64-bit(uname -a not recognized) Strawberry Perl I installed the 0.13 withoutworldwriteables just like any other module that I manually had to do from the command line Perl Makefile.PL Dmake Dmake test Dmake install Dmake clean And included Use Spreadsheet::XLSX; And yet it XLSX.pm can't be found in @INC(which includes C:/Strawberry/perl/size/lib , C:/Strawberry/perl/vendor/lib and C:/Strawberry/perl/lib) I searched around and found two XLSX folders in.... C:\Strawberry\perl\site\lib\auto\Excel and C:\Strawberry\perl\site\lib\Excel And I found the XLSX.pm in... C:\Strawberry\perl\site\lib\Excel Is this correct because I assumed it would have been installed to C:\Strawberry\perl\site\lib\Spreadsheet with the other Spreadsheet modules that I have such as... ParseExcel WriteExcel WriteExcelXML ...as well as their corresponding .pm files I even manually copied the XLSX folder and .pm file into the Spreadsheet folder and I know longer got a complaint about finding the module, but my first line of code complained about "new"... My $Excel = Spreadsheet::XLSX -> new ('$Mydirectory_plus_file'); Thanks again. Joseph M. Maniaci Software Engineer I Northrop Grumman Information Systems DEPO/ Event Support
