I haven't seen this on Windows, an earlier Ubuntu Linux, RedHat or Centos. Can I get a temporary shell on the affected platform?
Or a link to a VirtualBox VM that reproduces the environment. I'm not too picky.

Bueller? I haven't been able to reproduce this. Marking it as "stalled" for a while, but I plan to reject this ticket if I can't reproduce it in the future. It's reported to be a compatibility problem with a popular operating system. I should be seeing a lot of reports, but so far this ticket is pretty quiet. Maybe TOO quiet.
I saw this intermittently on internal build servers I cannot share. CentOS 6 64bit on perl 5.14.3

commit f5a5fdf804cd2d48e8dcf66decda365ad9197c0a Author: Rocco Caputo <rcaputo@cpan.org> Date: Sat Jul 13 03:56:17 2013 -0400 [rt.cpan.org 75299] Add timing info to the test output. I haven't been able to reproduce the intermittent test timeout that Todd Rinaldo reported on the RT ticket. To help unstall the ticket, I've added timing information so cpantesters.org etc. might shed more light on the issue.

Still nothing. I hate rejecting tickets, but I haven't been able to reproduce this one. And I use Ubuntu and POE at work.
