Subject: Document differences with B::svref_2object($var)->REFCNT
Download (untitled) / with headers
text/plain 357b
The Devel::Refcount POD has a very interesting discussion about difference of behavior with Devel::Peek. It would be interesting to document in the same way the difference, if any, with B::svref_2object($var)->REFCNT. B:: has the advantage of being a core module. By the way, thanks for Devel::RefCount ! -- Olivier Mengué - http://perlresume.org/DOLMEN

Given the latest version (shipped 3 months before you filed this ticket) already uses B::svref_2object($var)->REFCNT as a fallback for a pure-perl version[1], this ticket is moot. There is no difference :) Cheers [1] https://metacpan.org/source/PEVANS/Devel-Refcount-0.09/lib/Devel/Refcount.pm#L56
