Hi Peter, Are there any known issue with DBIx::Class and Oracle 10.2.0.3 at the moment? We are experiencing unexplained database slowdowns at the moment. I don't really believe that DBIx::Class is the problem, but I've been asked to ask. Module id = DBIx::Class CPAN_USERID ARCANEZ (Justin Hunter <justin.d.hunter@gmail.com>) CPAN_VERSION 0.08195 CPAN_FILE A/AB/ABRAXXA/DBIx-Class-0.08195.tar.gz MANPAGE DBIx::Class - Extensible and flexible object <-> relational mapper. INST_FILE /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/DBIx/Class.pm INST_VERSION 0.08195 Regards Duncan

Hi, It *is* possible that the blob condition handling code misfires. Things will still work but excrutiatingly slow. Refer to https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=70045 for more info. Note this may not be your problem at all, this just happened to affect someone else recently.

Hi Peter, This refers to someone using an incorrect datatype. We haven't done that. All the best. Duncan Show quoted text

Then no, I am not aware of any issues at the moment. I suggest examining the SQL trace dumps (DBIC_TRACE=1=logfile) and comparing them between the new (slow) and old (normal) versions of dbic to see if anything jumps out. It may not even be related to DBIC in any way. I am closing this ticket for the time being, feel free to reopen it if you get something more definitive.
