Building via the CPAN module on a 32-bit Activestate Perl there is a problem building DBD::Oracle. It is caused by oci.def not including a symbol (OCIServerRelease, presumable new in Oracle 11) that is needed for the link to succeed. Adding that symbol to oci.def caused the build to succeed.

Thanks, that has already been fixed in subversion trunk and will be in the next release. From the log: r14770 | mjevans | 2011-03-25 11:10:07 +0000 (Fri, 25 Mar 2011) | 2 lines Add missing OCIServerRelease to oci.def Martin -- Martin J. Evans Wetherby, UK
