When using the shell, and the 'r' command (to check for outdated modules) CPAN uses too much memory. I wonder if it is possible to make this less hungry :) Best, ambs

Well, I think it could be worse: 18254 root 40 0 276m 182m 1572 R 77 68.1 0:33.84 cpan This this was the top. This subject is relevant specially when running on a slice with 256 MB of RAM :) Anyway, for me this is good enough. You can close the ticket if you wish :) Cheers ambs
