Subject: Please make XML::RPC::Client able to speak through UNIX sockets
It would be nice if XML::RPC::Client would be able to speak through unix sockets. TIA, Florian

It would be, but it would also go against the XML-RPC standard. I am considering some other changes that would also buck the standard, so I'm keeping this alive for now. But it won't happen in the near future.

Thanks for your response. By the way it is already possible to speak through UNIX sockets with XML::RPC when using LWP::Protocol::http::SocketUnix as implementor for LWPs 'http://' URIs. Regards, Florian
