Subject: Tests fail on Win32/Strawberry
On MSWin32 / Strawberry Perl, tests are failing unnecessarily (I believe) due to overly strict test regexes -- the tests look for .../Test.pm in the filename, but on windows the path components contain ...\Test.pm instead. See for instance the CPAN Testers report at http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.cpan.testers/2009/03/msg3379420.htm l and the StackOverflow question at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1606259/gvim-perl-tags-under-win32- should-i-use-perltags Thanks Andrew
I just tried to patch this at http://github.com/tsee/perl-tags Likely to be fixed in the next release.
