HTML::TreeBuilder version 3.23 Debugging it with perl, v5.8.6 built for darwin-thread-multi-2level (on Mac OSX 10.4.11). It dies under the debugger when trying to call ->parse() on, for example, the content from this page: nth=&year= Will P.S. I really tried to register with bitcard *and* OpenID -- it was too difficult! Hi, I don't have OSX to test this on, but it works fine on Linux. wget -O test.html perl -dt htmltree test.html FWIW parse is passed straight to HTML::Parser, which is an a XS module and is probably the source of this crash.
