Subject: Pinging IPv6 Addresses
Download (untitled) / with headers
text/plain 321b
On most BSD and Linux systems I've tested so far, the standard ping command cannot do ICMPv6 pings, and therefore can't ping an IPv6 address. On those systems, the 'ping6' command needs to be used instead. It would be beneficial if Net::Ping::External could automagically do the "right thing" when given an IPv6 address.
