Hi, we've received a bug report in the Debian Bug Tracker: http://bugs.debian.org/482339 Summary: HELO uses the host name returned by hostname() which tends to break because mail servers tend to expect a FQDN. hostname_long() from Sys::Hostname::Long might be a better idea. Find attached a patch I've prepared for the Debian package. Cheers, gregor -- .''`. http://info.comodo.priv.at/ | gpg key ID: 0x00F3CFE4 : :' : debian gnu/linux user, admin & developer - http://www.debian.org/ `. `' member of https://www.vibe.at/ | how to reply: http://got.to/quote/ `- NP: Bob Dylan: Can't Wait

I confirm proposed solution solves the bug/problem. I'd like to ask if it ever gets incorporated as this is causing some difficulties. Thanks, Zdenek
