http://bbbike2.radzeit.de/~slaven/cpantestersmatrix.cgi?dist=MooseX-Daemonize&maxver= This matrix looks alarming, so I compared all test reports and found no systematic relation. I then let the test run several times and -- no surprise -- quickly got both success and failure. This was with blead@33450. If you do cannot reproduce it and you need access to a box that exhibits the bug, let me know. Best,

Andreas, Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this. I suspect that the random test results are because there are a number of subtle timing bugs in the test code. I just uploaded a new version which addresses at least one of the bugs, and I will be poking at the others as soon as I get time. Thanks very much for taking the time to look at the tests. - Stevan

Is this failure related or is it something new: t/31.with_pid_file_and_poe.t .. 12/? # Failed test '... the daemon process is no longer running (32657)' # at t/31.with_pid_file_and_poe.t line 129. # Failed test '... the PID file has been removed' # at t/31.with_pid_file_and_poe.t line 130. # Looks like you failed 2 tests of 13. Tried checking POE and it appears to test ok (version is 1.266). Is it me or is it a bug?

We are removing this test for now, it needs to be re-written and right now is not adding any value.
