Subject: Net-SSLeay fails to honor path for custom OpenSSL installation locations
Download (untitled) / with headers

I need Net-SSLeay to link against my build of OpenSSL. The README file says to use the "-path" argument to Makefile.PL to do this. However, the resulting Makefile ignores this input, and continues to build against the system OpenSSL.

I found after browsing further in the source that setting the environment variable OPENSSL_PREFIX will allow this. However, this is not documented in the README file.
Fixed documentation in README in svn Thanks for the report.
