Subject: Obfuscated email view not really obfuscated

I set up "obfuscated" mail view in the prefs, but it turned out to be shown with no mangling in the user info page. Thus I set it to "don't show" which correctly hides it altogether. Michele -- Show quoted text

Neat "word"! - Donald Arseneau in comp.text.tex

It is obfuscated at the HTML source level using HTML::Email::Obfuscate, but looks like normal text once rendered. See http://search.cpan.org/~adamk/HTML-Email-Obfuscate-1.00/lib/HTML/Email/Obfuscate.pm for more information. Cheers, Ivan

Sorry for the trivial mistake. I didn't know 'bout H::E::O, nice technique(s). Michele -- Hmm, *(@array, "z")... what does that mean? Whatever it means, you're correct in both of these. In the latter, the @array is in a flattening context, so it gets, well, flattened. - Luke Palmer in p6l, "Re: Do slurpy parameters auto-flatten arrays?"
