Previously I installed/ran DBIx::Class without a problem (but perhaps I used ppm to install it, I just don't remember). Thanks very much for the report; the underlying problem is that the reconnect test needs to be able to deny you access to the test db, which means it can't work as either administrator under windows or root under *n?x. We've worked around this and the fix will be in 08005
