Though CPAN::Reporter comes with a sensible default for cc_author 'default:yes pass:no' some users insist on setting it to 'yes'. Some form of mechanism so that I can indicate that I really want pass:no when it comes to my modules would be useful to me. -- Richard Clamp <richardc@unixbeard.net>

Upcoming 1.0 release of CPAN::Reporter will set cc_author to a somewhat sane default (notify only for fail and unknown) and move it to the "advanced config" section. Users will not prompted to change it during interactive configuration. If the META.yml spec is updated to include author preferences for test reporting, this feature will be added to CPAN::Reporter

CPAN::Reporter no longer sends reports directly, so this bug can be resolved. -- Alexandr Ciornii, http://chorny.net
