Unfortunately, I don't have the time, nor the skills, nor even the equipement to debug this problem on a windows computer. So I'll just add a warning and leave it at that for now.

I've just tested on an FC3 install with perl 5.8.5 and FC5 with perl 5.8.8 and it doesn't hang. Show quoted text

POE::Component::Generic 0.905 hangs, but 0.906 doesn't. POE 0.37. POE 0.95, POE::Component::Generic 0.906 - also ok. ------- Alexandr Ciornii, http://chorny.net
