I would like to have aliases for the encode and decode functions: octets_to_characters and characters_to_octets. I really cannot remember which is decode and which is encode. Regards, Slaven

I prefer to go with the well-documented terms "octets" and "characters". Maybe octets2chars and chars2octets? Regards, Slaven -- Slaven Rezic - slaven <at> rezic <dot> de Tk-AppMaster: a perl/Tk module launcher designed for handhelds http://tk-appmaster.sf.net
