Accented characters and adjacent ones are garbled when moving cursor over them in the Tk::Text widget. Verified with ActiveState 5.8.7, 5.8.6 is ok. Several times reported on comp.lang.perl.tk. Radek

I can reproduce this, just by typing the Euro sign (€) into a plain Tk::Text widget. Strange enough the error does not occur if I rebuild Perl/Tk with Truetype support (XFT=1), even when using the same font (standard helvetica). Regards, Slaven
