Hi, Reported this on Github first, after reading that bugs should be reported here. ( https://github.com/daoswald/Bytes-Random-Secure-Tiny/issues/4) Looks like installing Crypt-Perl-0.33 fails because version 1.009 is being installed and Bytes::Random::Secure::Tiny announces itself as 1.007. https://metacpan.org/pod/Bytes::Random::Secure::Tiny ``` 6 HOURS AGO Distribution: Bytes-Random-Secure-Tiny Module version: 1.007 ``` see also: https://metacpan.org/diff/file?target=DAVIDO/Bytes-Random-Secure-Tiny-1.009/lib%2FBytes%2FRandom%2FSecure%2FTiny.pm&source=DAVIDO%2FBytes-Random-Secure-Tiny-1.008%2Flib%2FBytes%2FRandom%2FSecure%2FTiny.pm Reproducible with: ``` docker run -ti debian:buster-slim /bin/bash # apt update && apt install build-essential cpanminus # cpanm Crypt::Perl ... Fetching http://www.cpan.org/authors/id/D/DA/DAVIDO/Bytes-Random-Secure-Tiny-1.009.tar.gz ... OK Configuring Bytes-Random-Secure-Tiny-1.009 ... OK Building and testing Bytes-Random-Secure-Tiny-1.009 ... OK --> Working on Math::ProvablePrime Fetching http://www.cpan.org/authors/id/F/FE/FELIPE/Math-ProvablePrime-0.045.tar.gz ... OK Configuring Math-ProvablePrime-0.045 ... OK ==> Found dependencies: Bytes::Random::Secure::Tiny ! Installing the dependencies failed: Installed version (1.007) of Bytes::Random::Secure::Tiny is not in range '1.008' ! Bailing out the installation for Math-ProvablePrime-0.045. ``` Kind regards Thomas
