Subject: 2.0 requires channel link "rel"

The RSS validator complains about it (but no-one uses it): the "rel" attribute on the channel link. The RSS 2.0 spec at http://www.rssboard.org/rss-profile#namespace-elements-atom-link under "recommendation" says that the channel link item MUST have a "rel=self" attribute.
