In Debian we are currently applying the following patch to Getopt-Declare. We thought you might be interested in it too. Description: fix regexp warning with perl 5.28 Unescaped left brace in regex is deprecated here (and will be fatal in Perl 5.32), passed through in regex; marked by <-- HERE in m/\A((?![ ]*({ <-- HERE |\n)|.*?\S.*?\t.*?\S).*?\S.*\n)/ at lib/Getopt/Declare.pm line 651. Unescaped left brace in regex is deprecated here (and will be fatal in Perl 5.32), passed through in regex; marked by <-- HERE in m/\A((?![ ]*({ <-- HERE |\n)|.*?\S.*?\t.*?\S).*?\S.*\n)/ at lib/Getopt/Declare.pm line 1072.
