|Subject:||[macOS] black text/graphics for menu items|
When using the native menubar on macOS, the text and/or graphics of some menu items might always be rendered black when it should sometimes render as white, which is either: (1) when the mouse pointer is over the menu item (making the highlighted item hard to read), or (2) when the user has enabled the dark menu bar in System Preferences > General (making un-highlighted items unreadable). This issue only occurs depending on whether or not the menu was constructed using `-menuitems`. Using the Tcl::pTk widget demo, for the `menus` example, the toplevel cascades behave correctly but submenus do not. For the `menus2` example (which uses `-menuitems`), nearly the opposite is observed: toplevel cascades do not behave correctly, but submenus do.
