Subject: t/symbols.t: test failures on FreeBSD-11.0
Download (untitled) / with headers
text/plain 980b
In preparation for the release of perl-5.28.0 in May 2018, I have been testing a selected subset of CPAN distributions against monthly development releases in the perl-5.27.* series. Today I attempted to install this distribution against perl-5.27.10 on FreeBSD-11.0 using 'cpanm' as the installer. The attempt failed due to test failures in t/symbols.t: ##### "", "# Failed test 'Undefined subroutine &Net::Interface::IFF_DRV_RUNNING called at t/symbols.t line 48.", "# '", "# at t/symbols.t line 51.", "", "# Failed test 'Undefined subroutine &Net::Interface::IFF_DRV_OACTIVE called at t/symbols.t line 48.", "# '", "# at t/symbols.t line 51.", "# Looks like you failed 2 tests of 71.", "t/symbols.t ....... ", "Dubious, test returned 2 (wstat 512, 0x200)", "Failed 2/71 subtests ", ##### Please find attached (i) an excerpt from the build.log; and (ii) the relevant 'perl -V' output. Thank you very much. It seems that all FreeBSD versions are affected. I see the problem with 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13. Show quoted text
