You were testing version 0.17, not version 0.18, which is the version that contains the toke.c fixes for blead. (FWIW, it is not necessary to use dzil to test any distribution I ship, unless you are testing the packaging system itself -- it is entirely sufficient to do either 'prove -lr t' for pure-perl distributions, or 'perl Makefile.PL && make test' for XS-based distributions.)
