Hi, I havent been able to reproduce this. Testing against openssl-fips-1.2: t/handle/local/05_use.t ................ ok t/local/01_pod.t ....................... skipped: Test::Pod 1.00 required for testing POD t/local/02_pod_coverage.t .............. skipped: these tests are for only for release candidate testing. I have installed now the libopenssl1_0_0-hmac package, but the test still fails: t/local/07_sslecho.t ................... 1/78 # Failed test 'set_cert_and_key: private key `t/data/key.pem' () 3786: 1 - error:2D06D075:FIPS routines:fips_pkey_signature_test:test failure # ' # at t/local/07_sslecho.t line 63. # Looks like you failed 1 test of 78. t/local/07_sslecho.t ................... Dubious, test returned 1 (wstat 256, 0x100) When I set OPENSSL_FORCE_FIPS_MODE=1 than after "perl Makefile.PL" I get this message: fips.c(137): OpenSSL internal error, assertion failed: FATAL FIPS SELFTEST FAILURE *** OpenSSL version test failed (`' has been returned) Either you have bogus OpenSSL or a new version has changed the version number format.
