Dear, I have made somes tests and It's impossible to install Tk on ActivePerl (32 or 64 bits). I have test installation of Tk 804.31, 804.32 and 804.33. All failed on ActivePerl 5.20 (Windows 8.1) with the same errors messages.

Can you tell me what's the origin of the gcc on your system? I suspect it's ActiveState's MinGW ppm package? If so, then probably windres is also missing, next to the known tools like dllwrap, ranlib, and strip, and need to be fetched from elsewhere. I just tried on a system where StrawberryPerl was previously installed, and without the MinGW package. The build also was not successful, but failed on compilation of Tk::PNG and Tk::JPEG. Except for tests using these modules the test suite was successful when forcing keep-run (dmake -k test). I'll look into these issues more closely in the next days.

I have the same problems on my two Windows XP 32 bit Perl 5.20.2 machines, with both Tk-804.033.tar.gz and Tk-804.032.tar.gz I tried 'cpan install Tk'. In the Windows prompt box, I tried 'perl Makefile.PL', then 'dmake'. In my msys prompt box I tried the same thing. The last 8 lines of the 'dmake' output are below.
