Hi team, even Mr. Sperberg-McQueen commented on this, cf. The SOAP 1.1 XSD prohibits the occurence of an encodingStyle attirbute in the envelope. SOAP::Lite generates this for me: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><soap:Envelope *soap:encodingStyle="" *xmlns:soap="" ... However, my customer seems to be running an implementation that adheres strictly to the XSD, so that request is being rejected. After a lot of searching, I found this remedy: $serializer->{'_attr'}{'{} <>encodingStyle'} = undef; But it would be better for SOAP::Lite to not produce the attribute in the first place. Regards, Martin PS.
