I sent this patch to FLORA back in November. It makes MooseX::Declare more extensible by allowing roles to hook onto the options mechanism is currently a hard-coded regexp /^(extends|with|is)$/. At the time I was told I could expect it to be included in a new release including the patch within about a week, but I guess that it has been forgotten about (easy enough to do as our discussion was on IRC which is quite ephemeral), as it has now been nearly 3 months. Here's the change: http://buzzword.org.uk/2011/moose/mx-d/0002-Allow-extra-options-the- actual-change.patch Here's a test case: http://buzzword.org.uk/2011/moose/mx-d/0001-Allow-extra-options.patch
