Perl Version: This is perl, v5.8.8 built for x86_64-linux-thread-multi OS Version: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.5 (Tikanga) Problem: The charts that can be created within the examples directory contain only a black outline. This is using the supplied libraries from RedHat .i.e Cairo, fontconfig, libpng and freetype. The modules from CPAN install without problems and no errors and seem to support the version levels of those supplied libraries. This thread, http://cpanforum.com/threads/6100, seems to indicate a problem with fonts. Is there a work around that does not require a private install of those libraries? Thanks

This has been a problem for a while. I'm not sure what library causes the problem in RHEL. It seems that people always manage to fix by rebuilding things from scratch. Sorry I don't know more.
