When HTML::FillInForm is used on a page that contains a SELECT element with no name attribute, it produces the following warnings for each child OPTION element of the SELECT element. Use of uninitialized value in hash element at /usr/share/perl5/HTML/ line 263. Use of uninitialized value in exists at /usr/share/perl5/HTML/ line 265. Use of uninitialized value in exists at /usr/share/perl5/HTML/ line 267. This is because when HTML::FillInForm processes OPTION elements it assumes that the SELECT element has a name: } elsif ($tagname eq 'option'){ my $value = $self->_get_param($self->{selectName}); $self->{selectName} in this case is undef, and the code in _get_param assumes that it has been passed a defined value.
