XML::LibXML::Iterator is refered to in XML::LibXML, however the module is clearly not supported for years: it fails even simple tests. It may be a good thing to integrate it (back into) the base distribution. Other solutions is to remove the remake that XML::LibXML::Node::iterate() will disappear, or find someone who wants to maintain it.

The module has finally been updated by its maintainer. So far I do not have Christian's consent for moving the module into XML::LibXML. Since it seems functional again, I'm closing this bug for now. -- Petr
