perl is 5.8.0 system is Mac OS X 10.2.3 with latest developer tools Using an XML-Document with a DOCTYPE-Definition which does not follow the DTD defined therein parse_file and parse_fh seem to behave different. The two scripts attached show the problem: While check_dtd_fh.pl seems to validate the XML-Document check_dtd_file.pl doesn't seem to, which seems to be related to setting recover to true. I use XML::LibXML 1.52 (due to the known issues with AxKit) on Mac OS X 10.2.3. If you need any further information please send me a mail.
