See for a sample fail report, and for an overview. It seems to happen if the machine has no fqdn and Sys::Hostname::Long tries `hostname --fqdn`, which triggers the taint warning. There's an old bug report against Sys::Hostname::Long for this issue (see ) but maybe you want to protect against the test failures yourself, e.g. by removing -T from the test script, or set $ENV{PATH} yourself before calling the Sys::Hostname::Long function, or by switching to Sys::Hostname::FQDN.
